  ¢ñ. The CIT invites submission of original work for consideration of presentation at the Congress. Abstracts are an essential part for sharing new information on topics in interventional cardiology, endovascular medicine, structural heart disease, heart rhythms and related medical therapy. Abstracts should address one of these areas (clinical studies, basic science investigation, and animal studies are equally encouraged). The abstract selection process for CIT Congress is organized under the auspices of the Board of Directors, CIT. All submitted abstracts will be peer reviewed by multiple graders. The highest graded abstracts accepted will be presented as oral or poster presentation at the Congress.

¢ó. Acknowledgement of Receipt
An Acknowledgement letter will be sent to acknowledge receipt of the abstract via E-mail.

¢ô. Reviewing Procedure and Selection for Presentation

  1. All submitted abstracts will be peer reviewed before they are accepted.
  2. Notification of presentation time slot will be mailed to the author in early February 2008.
  3. All the accepted abstracts will be published in the Abstract Book ¨C Chinese Medical Journal Supplement, which will be distributed to each registered participant at the Conference.

¢õ. Abstract Presentation Formats

Oral Presentation:
Presentation details will be notified in early February 2008.

Poster Presentation
All accepted posters will be presented in Electronic Version, and will be displayed online in PPT/PDF format in a designated area at the Congress venue.

Published Only
Abstract accepted for Published Only will not be presented at the Congress, but will be grouped into the Abstract Book.

¢ö. Abstract Preparation Guidelines

  1. Abstracts must be submitted in English.
  2. Use a font not smaller than 10-point for the text.
  3. Limit your abstracts to 400 words.
  4. Arrange your abstract as follows:
    * A title: brief and clear, do not indent
    * Authors: all authors¡¯ names without degrees or titles
    * Institution, city and country where the study was performed, no postal address or code
    * Separate paragraphs of the Backgrounds, Methods, Results, Conclusions
  5. Define each abbreviation the first time it is used in the text by placing in parentheses.
  6. Do not include references in the abstract.

Abstracts not prepared as instructed above or submitted after the deadline will be rejected.
